The full purpose behind these concentric terraces isn’t fully known. However, it is widely believed that the ruins were once an agricultural laboratory used by the Incas.
The circular terraces that lie here are thought to have been used as an agricultural research station. Building the whole site took a few generations because there’s a reference before the main building that there were two more who were older than the big one, the idea of the Incans was to concentrate high temperatures down in the bottom of the building but also a really good draining system, archeologist found lot evidence of plants from tropical places.
Moray needs to explore more because there wasn’t much searching on it.
